Child exploitation has reached a new and unprecedented high in these present times with the exurbanite amount of prize money on offer for sport at the elite professional level . A sport that caters for the lone individual effort can propel its top performing players very quickly into international super stardom . Tennis has now overwhelmingly distinguished and established itself as not only the top child exploitation sport of all time but also as the absolute antithesis of active unrelenting ongoing child exploitation per se . The immense damage inflicted upon its successful participants and a multitude of its failed participants at the irreversible psychological level does serve as a sad and sorrowful testimony .

A child is correctly defined as a prepubescent human . Female puberty will usually begin at age ten and a half while male puberty does make its beginning at eleven and a half years of age to twelve . Largely ignored is the biological fact that a human ( male or female ) does not reach final physical maturity until age 25 when the spine will become fully developed . This ignorance could be considered the prime case of all active sport related injuries and also injuries related to the more active of the performing arts . A responsible civilisation would discourage its citizens from direct participation in not only active performing arts and sport until age twenty five but also from direct involvement in physically demanding paid employment until age twenty five .

An adolescent would be then broadly defined as a human between the onset of puberty and the beginning of final physical maturity . Afterwards the full physically matured human would then be considered an adult as full mental development and maturity will coincide with complete physical development . Of all intensive unnatural human physical activity competitive tennis at the elite level has gradually evolved as the number one channel for child exploitation on an unrivalled world wide scale .

Although tennis can be performed at a team level by doubles play the dominant focus is directed upon the lone effort being the singles player and their championship status . This championship status is predominantly determined by the number of continual major level tournament wins and the career duration of such . The singles tennis players who do make consistent and regular appearances in the semi final and final positional spots of the major tennis tournaments and a reasonable number of the more minor tournaments for at least ten years or more would have generally acquired such status .

Ultimately the blame for this phenomenon is entirely attributable to any parent who does place a tennis racquet in the hand of their child at a ridiculously early age and have them shortly thereafter professionally coached and trained for any standard competitive tennis . Most children do not possess the attributes that will allow them to effectively participate at the tournament level so mercifully it shall save such children from being fully exploited in this manner .

The most deplorable aspect of the whole scenario however has been the emergence of the so called tennis academy to accommodate such perverse exploitation . Because filming and photography do often form part of the training regime for these self styled and self proclaimed academies the young potential tennis professionals may be imaged in sexually compromising positions ( especially in relation to the female child players ) without their knowledge or the knowledge of their pushy parents . That does form the regrettable height and pinnacle of reprehensibility regardless of any redeeming perspective being placed upon the matter if such a redeeming feature or aspect can be found .
